James Starks cut by Packers

Fantasy Impact:
Starks, who missed the last three games of the regular season, plus, two playoff games with a concussion suffered in a car accident, was released Wednesday. After having a career year in 2015 in which he totaled 993 yards and five touchdowns, Starks took a drastic step back last season -- he only totaled 279 yards and two touchdowns in 2016. With the Packers, who are already light at running back, cutting ties with Starks, the writing is on the wall for his career to come to an end. He likely played his last down in the NFL after seven seasons.
