Colt Lyerla off to slow start

Given the uncertainty among the Packers tight end group, there will be plenty of opportunities for roster spots to be won at that position. Unfortunately for Colt Lyerla, his first NFL training camp practice was not a good one. (FOX Sports Wisconsin)
Fantasy Impact:
Apparently Lyerla has dropped a few balls, and it has been noted that he is left outside on the practice squad while Perillo is inside the Hutson Center with the veterans. In the fantasy the world, this does not give us any concrete indication of his future, but if he doesn't make the 53-man roster, then the once "sleeper" pick stays sleeping. Lyerla has plenty of potential, but he needs to get on the roster first. With this news, it is probably safe to assume there is no need to draft him, unless something drastically changes, but he still might have an impact down the road due to an injury in front of him. That is assuming he makes the team first.
