Fantasy Impact: There is a chance that Whitehead could return at some point this season. It will be dependent on the healing and if the Buccaneers make the playoffs.


Buccaneers LB Joe Tryon-Shoyinka has been ruled out for the remainder of Week 12 with an ankle injury. (Source: Buccaneers Communications on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Tyron-Shoyinka was injured in the second quarter and did not return to the game. The Buccaneers will likely have the linebacker undergo further testing before the release any information on the severity of the injury.


Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (hamstring) is officially active for Week 12.

Fantasy Impact: Evans has been dealing with a hamstring injury since Week 7. There is no word on if he is expected to face a snap count against the Giants, but considering the Giants' defense struggles against the pass, Evans remains a strong starting option.

Fantasy Impact: The rookie was able to practice in full at Tampa Bay's first practice of the week on Wednesday. He was previously dealing with a hamstring issue, but it looks like it won't be much of a problem for him moving forward. He may see less work if Mike Evans (hamstring) is available to make his return for the Buccaneers this week.

Fantasy Impact: The rookie was able to log a full practice session on Wednesday. A toe injury has been lingering with him for a little while now, but it doesn't seem to be a serious issue and won't affect his status for Week 12. His presence will limit the upside of Rachaad White moving forward.

Fantasy Impact: Shepard missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday due to hamstring and hip injuries. Jalen McMillan (hamstring) was also back at practice on Friday.

Fantasy Impact: It is a positive sign for Mayfield after he missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday. He should be good to go for Sunday's game against the 49ers.

Fantasy Impact: Jarrett was a full participant at practice all week. He should be good to go for Sunday's game.

Fantasy Impact: Payne closed the week logging a full practice on Friday. He should be on the favorable side of questionable.

Fantasy Impact: Gaines closed the week missing practice on Friday. The Buccaneers defensive line will be a little short-handed in his absence.


Chris Godwin (ankle) has officially been placed on injured reserve and is expected to be out for the remainder of the season. (Source: Scott Smith)

Fantasy Impact: Godwin suffered an ankle injury in Week 7, and the team has officially placed him on injured reserve. That means that he will be out for the next four weeks at the very least, but the expectation is that he will be sidelined for the remainder of the season. This is a tough blow for fantasy managers, as he was having an electric season before going down. Jalen McMillan and Cade Otton will both see more opportunities in his absence.

Fantasy Impact: White is good to go after logging a full practice session Saturday, although fantasy managers should temper expectations as head coach Todd Bowles stated he will ride the “hot hand” at running back between White, Bucky Irving, and Sean Tucker against the Ravens defense Monday night.


Buccaneers WR Kameron Johnson (ankle) I s officially inactive for Week 6.

Fantasy Impact: Johnson is dealing with an ankle injury and did not practice in the last two sessions of the week. He does not hold any fantasy value currently.

Fantasy Impact: Palmer was unable to clear concussion protocol in time. The Bucs could get Jalen McMillan back from his hamstring injury.


Luke Goedeke (concussion) practiced in a full capacity on Wednesday. (Source: Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Fantasy Impact: Goedeke missed last week's game while dealing with a concussion, but he has recovered from it and was able to log a full practice session on Wednesday. That means that he will likely play in Week 6, which is good news for Tampa Bay's offensive line.

Fantasy Impact: Kancey has missed several games because of a calf injury, but he was able to log a full practice session on Wednesday. It looks like he's gearing up to make a return in Week 6, which would be great news for a struggling Buccaneers' defense.

Fantasy Impact: Winfield has been dealing with a foot injury for a little while now, but he was able to practice in a limited fashion on Wednesday. He will have a chance to play in Sunday's game against the Saints, but we won't know more until later in the week.

Fantasy Impact: Brown landed on IR three days before the start of the regular season after suffering an injury to his ribs during practice. He'll have the next 21 days to officially be activated.
