Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray is no longer listed on the injury report with a knee injury and is good to go for Week 2 versus the Los Angeles Rams. (Source: Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: As the Cardinals prepare for an in-division showdown, Murray is set to play after leading a 28-point outing in Week 1. He threw for 162 yards and a score while adding a team-high 57 yards on five carries. Murray has an ECR of QB6 for Week 2.

Jonah Williams (knee) has been placed on injured reserve. (Source: Josh Weinfuss on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Williams will miss at least the next four weeks while on injured reserve. He's currently dealing with a knee injury, and HC Jonathan Gannon noted that there is no timetable for his return. This is a tough blow for Arizona's offensive line, which directly affects players like Kyler Murray and James Conner for fantasy purposes.

Fantasy Impact: Weaver was sidelined from practice on Thursday. He'll likely miss at least one game due to an oblique injury.

Fantasy Impact: Blount was sidelined from practice on Thursday. His status won't be known till after practice on Friday.

Desmond Ridder cleared concussion protocol. (Source: ProFootballTalk on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Ridder entered the concussion protocol in Sunday's preseason finale. He is competing with Clayton Tune for the backup quarterback role behind Kyler Murray.

Fantasy Impact: The Cardinals’ 2023 second-round pick had four sacks and 40 total tackles in his rookie season. Tough loss for Arizona’s defense.

By Ari Koslow

Cardinals' coach Jonathan Gannon told reporters that OT D.J. Humphries tore his ACL and is out for the season. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Humphries suffered the injury last week. He will look to recover throughout the offseason to be ready for next season.

Cardinals' coach Jonathan Gannon said Marquise Brown will be placed on IR. (Source: Darren Urban on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: This will end the season for Brown. He caught 51 passes for 574 yards and four touchdowns across 14 games this season. He had been playing through a heel injury as of late when he was on the field. His absence will open up some targets for Trey McBride and Greg Dortch this week.

Greg Dortch is expected to do some work at practice on Friday and see where he is at on Sunday. (Source: Darren Urban on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Dortch missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday to open the week. The Cardinals are already short-handed at wide receiver with Marquise Brown (heel) ruled out.

The Cardinals placed LB Josh Woods on injured reserve Wednesday. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Woods is dealing with a core muscle injury and will not return this season after being placed on injured reserve. The 27-year-old finishes the season with 61 tackles, 0.5 sack, and one forced fumble in 11 games this year.

The Cardinals placed TE Geoff Swaim on injured reserve with a calf injury. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Swaim suffered the calf injury on Sunday in the loss to the 49ers. The 30-year-old will close out the 2023 season with 94 receiving yards on 10 receptions.

Arizona Cardinals rookie WR Michael Wilson (neck) is expected to make his return from injury in Week 15 against the San Francisco 49ers. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Wilson has not played since Week 10, a six-target, three-catch, 34-yard outing in QB Kyler Murray's return. He was limited all week in practice, but with a Week 14 bye providing an extra week of recovery, the rookie was able to avoid injured reserve. Now, he can develop his chemistry with franchise QB Murray, who he has played just one game with, and provide one more outside playmaker to the offense. Wilson has 28 catches for 435 yards and two TDs in nine games played.

Emari Demercado did not log a touch in a 24-10 win over the Steelers in Week 13.

Fantasy Impact: Demercado suffered a neck injury in the first quarter and did not return to the game despite passing the league's concussion tests. He will have the bye in Week 14 to heal up before the Cardinals take on the 49ers in Week 15.

Trey McBride (groin) is officially active for Week 13's contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers. (Source: Darren Urban on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Arizona initially had McBride listed as questionable to play heading into the day Sunday, but he has since been upgraded to active and will be available to play. He's still dealing with a groin injury, but it seems to be more of a minor issue and it seems unlikely to have a major effect on his production. Fantasy managers can have confidence rolling him out as a safe TE1 option, especially without the threat of Zach Ertz taking work away from him in Arizona's offense.

The Cardinals have activated RB James Conner from injured reserve and he will play on Sunday. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Arizona gets both Conner and Kyler Murray back on the offensive side of the ball. Conner should step back into his lead role where he'll be an RB2 play for fantasy managers.

Zach Ertz (quad) placed on IR

Tue, Oct 24th 1:01pm EDT
By Phil Wood

The Cardinals have placed Zach Ertz on IR after he suffered a quad strain in Week 7. (Source: Mike Garafolo)

Fantasy Impact: Ertz has 27 catches for 187 yards this year. With him out for at least four weeks, it's fair to expect many of his targets to transfer to fellow tight end Trey McBride. Even with Ertz in the lineup, McBride has caught 15 passes for 170 yards this season. With Kyler Murray's return expected in the next few weeks, the Cardinals' offense becomes much more promising. Considering tight ends are struggling to put up points this season, McBride is definitely worth adding to a roster and starting once Murray is back.

Cardinals WR Zach Pascal is officially inactive for a Week 7 matchup with Seattle.

Fantasy Impact: Pascal was listed as questionable for Sunday due to a neck injury. After not logging any practice time this week, the team will opt to keep Pascal out of Sunday’s game with the Seahawks.

Budda Baker (hamstring) has been activated from Arizona's injured reserve and is expected to play in Week 7. (Source: Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Baker has been on injured reserve ever since Week 1, but he's finally getting activated and is expected to play in Week 7. He has looked healthy at practice, and the team will welcome his return in what will be a tough divisional matchup against the Seahawks on Sunday. His presence will offer a big boost to this defense for the rest of the season, assuming he stays healthy.

Keaontay Ingram (neck) will be good to go for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams. (Source: Bo Brack on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: A neck injury has left Ingram sidelined for the past couple of weeks, but he returned to practice this week and is now completely off of the injury report for Sunday's game against the Rams. He likely won't have any limitations and was listed as Arizona's starting RB on their depth chart earlier this week. He will likely split work with rookie Emari Demercado, which is less than ideal for the fantasy value of both of them for Week 6.

According to team reporter Darren Urban, Arizona Cardinals RB Marlon Mack suffered an Achilles injury in Tuesday's practice, ending his season. (Source: Darren Urban on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Mack is no stranger to serious injuries, tearing his Achilles back in 2020 with the Indianapolis Colts. Achilles injuries tend to be career-altering, especially for RBs, and Mack's first return was already an uphill battle. Mack will miss the entire 2023 season less than a week after signing with the Cardinals. RB Keaontay Ingram is the clear favorite for RB2 touches in Mack's absence, and the hope is that Mack can bounce back again.
