The Minnesota Timberwolves have until March 1 to buyout Kevin Martin's contract in order for him to be eligible for the postseason with another team. The San Antonio Spurs have emerged as top contenders for signing Martin pending a buyout. The Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, and Houston Rockets have also expressed interest in the 33-year-old shooting guard. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Martin has been used sparingly this season by the Wolves, who have fully focused on developing their young players in the wake of their inability to build on an 8-8 start.
