The Minnesota Timberwolves have finalized a buyout of point guard Andre Miller. The move came three days after head coach Sam Mitchell promised more playing time for rookie point guard Tyus Jones. The 39-year-old Miller must sign with another team by March 1 to be eligible for the post-season. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Miller hasn't played since the All Star break. In the first half of the season, he averaged 3.4 points and 2.2 assists per game in 26 appearances off the bench. His buyout gives the Timberwolves an open roster spot to sign another player.
