Anthony Davis scores 27 to help snap Pelicans' losing streak
by George Haw | Lakers Correspondent | Tue, Feb 9th 3:18pm EST
In what was New Orleans' first win of the month, Davis had another strong outing, putting up 27 points (12-of-20 FG, 1-of-2 3PT, 2-of-6 FT), eight rebounds, one assist, two steals and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes.
Fantasy Impact:
Davis' 27 points were a game-high (tied with Jrue Holiday) and allowed the Pelicans to rest most of their starters in the fourth quarter. They will take on a Jazz team Wednesday that currently holds the last playoff spot in the west, making for an important yet tough matchup against the second-ranked defense in the league.
