Drew Gooden plays season-high 27 minutes versus Bulls

by Kerry Kauffman | Tue, Jan 12th 9:51am EST

The Washington Wizards got solid production up and down the roster in their 114-100 win over the Bulls on Monday. Drew Gooden, who has played in only 10 games this season, scored 10 points and hauled in 12 rebounds in 27 minutes off the bench. The veteran, in his 14th season out of Kansas, is averaging just 3.4 points per game this season.

Fantasy Impact:

Gooden has been plagued with a calf injury and is shooting only 29.5 percent for the season. His career averages of 11.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game suggest he can be of some value, but Gooden hasn't average over 10 points of 26 minutes per game since the 2011-2012 season.
