Brooklyn Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez said Monday that Noah Clowney is in a walking boot and will be assessed when the team returns to Brooklyn. (Meghan Triplett on Twitter)

Clowney sustained a right ankle sprain during Saturday's game against the Washington Wizards. The Nets face the Minnesota Timberwolves at home on Thursday, so an update on his injury should be available before then. While Clowney is out of the lineup, Trendon Watford and Jalen Wilson are expected to see an increase in playing time.
