Payne suffered an ankle injury during Wednesday's loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. He will miss Friday's game because of it, and it's unclear when he will be back in the lineup. Landry Shamet and Tyler Kolek are both expected to see more work for the Knicks in this matchup and for however long Payne remains sidelined.
