Ja Morant flirted with a triple-double for the Grizzlies Friday night, dishing out seven assists, grabbing eight rebounds, and exploding for 44 points (17-22 FG, 1-4 3PT, 9-10 FT) while also recording one steal in a 133-124 loss to the Cavaliers.

Morant continues an impactful stretch on the offensive end of the floor, dishing out six or more assists and scoring 28 or more points in each of his last five games. The superstar remains an elite backcourt option in all formats while leading a versatile Memphis starting five, averaging 22.3 points, 7.4 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game while carrying a usage rate of 30.7% so far this season.
