The Suns traded Jusuf Nurkic and a 2026 first-round pick to the Charlotte Hornets for Cody Martin, Vasilije Micic and a 2026 second-round pick. (Shams Charania on Twitter)

It was clear that the Suns were desperate to trade Nurkic. It is possible he takes over as the starting center for the Hornets after they traded Mark Williams to the Lakers Wednesday night.
