Desmond Bane posts double-double in win over Rockets

Desmond Bane picked up the playmaking duties on Thursday, finishing with 24 points (11-of-24 FG, 2-of-3 FT), 12 rebounds, and six assists in the Grizzlies’ victory over the Rockets. With Ja Morant (shoulder) sidelined, Bane slid over to point guard for 38 minutes, leading Memphis to a comfortable win.

Fantasy Impact:

Bane has been a top-25 performer in 8-cat formats for the past two weeks, a run that now aligns his season-long numbers with his Yahoo ADP (44). As long as Morant remains day-to-day, Bane should continue to see additional ball-handling responsibilities, solidifying his status as a must-start player in all fantasy leagues.
