Shake Milton steps up in win over Wizards

by Bruno Mulé | Lakers Correspondent | Fri, Jan 31st 9:09am EST

Shake Milton benefited from Gabe Vincent’s absence (sore knee) on Thursday, contributing 21 points (7-of-8 FG, 6-of-6 FT), four rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one three-pointer in 28 minutes. After scoring just 15 total points across his previous nine games, Milton seized the opportunity to post his best performance of the season for the Lakers.

Fantasy Impact:

Despite this strong showing, fantasy managers shouldn’t overreact to one breakout game—Milton’s role and productivity have been minimal thus far. Still, if Vincent remains sidelined for Saturday’s tilt against the Knicks, Milton could warrant a short-term look for those in deeper leagues or in need of streaming options.
