D'Angelo Russell has been traded to the Brooklyn Nets along with Maxwell Lewis and three second-round picks. The Lakers receive Dorian Finney-Smith and Shake Milton. (Shams Charania on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Russell returns to Brooklyn after last playing there in 2019. It's unclear exactly how his role with the Nets will look, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him get more consistent minutes than he did with the Lakers. He averaged 12.4 points and 4.7 assists per game in 26.3 minutes per game with this season in LA.
