Kyrie Irving leads offense in Saturday's loss to Trailblazers

by Chris Schommer | Mavericks Correspondent | Sun, Dec 29th 12:52pm EST

Kyrie Irving led the Mavericks offense Saturday night, exploding for 46 points (16-26 FG, 5-12 3PT, 9-9 FT) while also grabbing two rebounds, blocking one shot, dishing out two assists, and recording two steals in a 126-122 loss to the Trailblazers.

Fantasy Impact:

Irving continues an impactful stretch on both ends of the floor, finishing with two or more assists, two or more rebounds, and 15 or more points in each of his last five games. The veteran superstar should continue to carry a Dallas starting five without fellow superstar Luka Doncic (calf), averaging 24.6 points, 5.0 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game while carrying a usage rate of 25.8% so far this season.
