Joel Embiid has signed a $193 million extension with the Philadelphia 76ers. The agreement also has a player option for the 2028-2029 season. (Shams Charania on X)
Fantasy Impact:
It is no surprise that Embiid signed a max extension with the Sixers heading into the 2024 season. Embiid will remain a top-three option at the center position throughout the season if he can stay healthy. Combined with up-and-coming Tyrese Maxey, Embiid and his young point guard will look to make a push for the NBA finals.
