Franz Wagner has signed a five-year, $224 million contract extension with the Orlando Magic, a deal that could be worth up to $269 million. (Adrian Wojnarowski on X)

Wagner averaged a career-best in points, rebounds, and assists in his third year as a pro, making an extension a no-brainer. Wagner, along with star Paolo Banchero, led the Magic to their best record since 2010-2011. The 22-year-old German will continue to spearhead the Magic's aspirations as a title contender along with the aforementioned Banchero.
