Tyrese Maxey signs 5-year, $204 million deal with 76ers

Tyrese Maxey has signed a 5-year, $204 million deal with the 76ers. This comes on the heels of Paul George signing a four-year deal with the team just hours earlier. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact:

Maxey broke out in a big way in the 2023-24 season after James Harden’s departure from the team. He had a career-high 25.9 points per game last season along with nearly doubling his per-game average in assists on his way to winning the 2023-24 NBA Most Improved Player award. With Paul George now on the team, it will be interesting to see where Maxey fits in on the pecking order and if he can maintain the kind of role he had last season. One way or another, Philly is gearing up to be a serious title contender.
