Fantasy Impact:
Jones was away from the team indefinitely because of some personal issues, and now Charlotte is simply just waiving him. They spent a first-round pick on him in 2021, and despite him showing some flashes of potential, it just wasn't working out. He will hit the open market if he goes unclaimed on waivers over the next couple of days, and his departure will mean more work for Mark Williams for the 2023 season.
