Willie Cauley-Stein inks 10-day with Rockets

Big man Willie Cauley-Stein has signed a 10-day contract with the Houston Rockets. He's spent this season with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Houston's G League affiliate. (Shams Charania on Twitter)

The 6th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, Cauley-Stein has been known as a vertical threat during his seven-year career. He'll compete with Frank Kaminsky, Usman Garuba, and Boban Marjanovic for backup big minutes. Cauley-Stein averaged 7.3 points, 6.3 boards, 2.5 assists, and 1.3 blocks for the Vipers this season.
