Spencer Dinwiddie totaled 25 points (8-17 FG, 2-7 3PT, 7-9 FT), five rebounds, six assists, and four steals in the Nets’ 116-105 win over the Bulls.
Fantasy Impact:
Dinwiddie scored 25.0 points in the Nets’ win over the Bulls, putting together a solid performance in his first game with the Nets. This season he has averaged 34.2 minutes of playing time, 17.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game and has shot 45.6 percent from the floor and 40.2 percent from beyond the arc. It was an excellent homecoming performance for the eight-year veteran and a promising sign of things to come for his second stint with the Brooklyn Nets. Dinwiddie has already positioned himself as a viable fantasy option this season and can grow to be a tremendous asset in all fantasy formats night-in and night-out given his new role and the organization’s entering of a rebuilding phase which could lead to lower expectations for the team's performance. This move will indeed adjust his floor and ceiling. Still, given the consistency of his game and the promising potential upside of his production, rostering him at this time could produce significant returns.
