Josh Giddey lights up Celtics in blowout win

by Dan Tursky | Bulls Correspondent | Tue, Jan 3rd 10:27pm EST

Josh Giddey dropped 25 points (10-15 FG, 3-5 3P, 2-2 FT) to go with five rebounds, five assists, and two steals over just 24 minutes as the Thunder dismantled the Celtics 150-117 on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

With Thunder superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander a late scratch on Tuesday, Giddey was thrust in as the focal point of the offense and he did not disappoint. The second-year guard was able to get to the rim at will, as Boston collectively decided not to play any defense on Tuesday night. He did not even play in the fourth quarter as the game was well over by that point. Giddey has now scored at least 20 points in his past three games played, and he should be well rested to keep the momentum going against the Magic on Wednesday.
