Wood doesn't usually start for the Mavericks, but he sometimes sneaks his way into the starting rotation by coaches choice. That will be the case on Wednesday, as he replaces Dwight Powell, who had an injury designation going into the day. He will see a different role, but his value isn't projected to change that much.
