Joshua Primo waived by the Spurs Friday

Primo was the Spurs' 12th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft but couldn't secure a significant role in the rotation during his time with the team. The 19-year-old will now have the chance to seek other opportunities with another franchise. With Primo on the move, Josh Richardson receives a significant boost in value. Richardson becomes the clear backup to Devin Vassell, who is currently sidelined due to a left knee injury.
