The Orlando Magic and guard Gary Harris have agreed on a two-year, $26 million contract extension, his agents Austin Brown and Aaron Mintz of CAA Basketball tell ESPN, via Adrian Wojnarowski. (Adrian Wojnarowski via Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
With the contract extension the Magic offered, it’s apparent the young rebuilding team was looking to keep some veteran presence around the locker room. Harris could be a large part of the rotation early on in the 2022-23 season, making him worth rostering and he should give fantasy managers a solid floor but limited upside. The veteran guard averaged 11.1 points, 1.9 threes, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game last season for the Magic.
