Kendrick Nunn exercises player option for 2022-23 season

Kendrick Nunn opted in for his $5.25 million player option on Tuesday and will remain with the Lakers next season according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin. (Dave McMenamin on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Nunn missed all of last season with a bone bruise in his right knee. That means, despite signing a mid level exception with LA last summer, he still has yet to play a minute for the Lakers. Nunn made it known in his exit interview back in April that he intended to stay in Los Angeles so this comes as no surprise. Nunn averaged 15 points, 3 assists and 2.9 rebounds in two season with the Heat prior to signing with the Lakers in 2021.
