Brandon Williams productive in loss vs Houston
by Brian McDonald | Mavericks Correspondent | Sun, Mar 27th 6:56am EDT
Brandon Williams had a productive stat game Saturday with 15 points (6-15 FG, 1-6 3PT, 2-2 FT), 4 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block during the loss to Houston.
Fantasy Impact:
Brandon Williams made the most of his increased playing time due to his teammate’s injuries, by leading the team in assists, and tying for the team high in points on Saturday. Williams continues to shoot horribly from deep, going 1-19 over his last four games, but he’s contributed enough elsewhere to be a decent DFS punt play for as long as he gets starters minutes. Williams has played at least 23 minutes in every game since March 5th, and over that time he’s averaging 15.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
