Carmelo Anthony scores five points in win over the Cavaliers
by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Tue, Mar 22nd 8:40am EDT
Carmelo Anthony totaled five points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3PT), five rebounds, and one assist in the Lakers’ 131-120 win over the Cavaliers on Monday.
Fantasy Impact:
Anthony scored five points in the Lakers’ win over the Cavaliers, ending his streak of double-digit scoring performances at four. His ability to generate offensive value through his scoring has been a much-needed contribution to the Lakers fight to remain in the post season race. From a fantasy perspective his low floor and low ceiling could make him an undesirable fantasy asset for your lineups, however, his consistent role and the lack of other offensive options make him an ideal candidate for a single-game contest.
