According to Camryn Justice of News 5 Cleveland, Darius Garland (back) is scheduled to miss his third straight game on Friday against the Hornets per the Cavs injury report. (Camryn Justice on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Garland has missed the team's last two games with a lower back issue. Brandon Goodwin stepped into the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rockets and, while we do not expect him to fully replace Garland's production, he is the best streaming guard option currently on the Cavs roster from a fantasy perspective. Goodwin finished with eight assists, seven defensive rebounds and seven points in only his first start of the year. In case this back injury lingers for the third-year pro, we recommend taking a look at rostering Goodwin in the interim.
