Al-Farouq Aminu to accept player option with Chicago

Bulls F Al-Farouq Aminu is planning to exercise the player option in his contract worth $10.2 million and stay with Chicago for the 2021-22 season. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Aminu was the second piece Chicago acquired in their trade for all-star center Nikola Vucevic but rarely saw playing time on a developing Bulls team. Aminu averaged just 4.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game this past season, and it's unlikely he'll see much more playing time on a team that would rather work on developing their younger talent.
