Fantasy Impact:
When asked if there was still hope to sign with an NBA team, Chalmers responded that he can "definitely" still help an NBA franchise. "I definitely do. I definitely think I can still help a team, especially with my resume," said Chalmers. I have a lot of knowledge since I’ve been to four NBA Finals and won two NBA championships and a college national championship. I just feel like I can provide a lot of knowledge to a young point guard and be a mentor. That’s the role that I’d come back to the NBA and be, so I’m open to it if it happens." The 34-year-old last played in the NBA for the Grizzlies during the 2017-18 season. Chalmers averaged 8.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.4 steals across 646 games for the Heat/Grizzlies in his career. He will look to latch onto an NBA team, but there reportedly has been no interest at the moment.
