Shams Charania is reporting on Twitter that FA forward Michael Beasley is 'moving towards' signing a deal with the Brooklyn Nets. (Shams Charania on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Beasley is likely to become the second free agent to sign with the Nets after Jamal Crawford inked a deal with them earlier on Wednesday. It's not surprising that Brooklyn is looking to add some depth to their roster after seven members of the team will be out of the NBA restart, whether from injury or testing positive for Covid-19. If a deal is finalized, the 11-year vet should serve a valuable role for the Nets off the bench in Orlando. Beasley last appeared in 26 games for the Lakers during the 2018-2019 season and was able to put up 7.0 points per game in only 10.7 minutes a night.
