The Lakers recently released Avery Bradley and are eyeing JR Smith as a possible replacement. The veteran guard was waived by the Cavaliers this off-season, and he was unable to latch onto another team during the year. He would be reunited with Lebron James and provide backcourt depth for the Lakers. Smith averaged 6.7 points, 1.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.1 triples across 11 games for the Cavaliers in the 2018-19 season.
