Robert Covington has his worst outing as a Rocket
by Kaiyo Funaki | Fri, Mar 6th 3:27am EST
Robert Covington struggled to get going in Thursday nights 120-105 loss to the Clippers, registering just three points (1-4 FG, 0-3 3 PT, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, two blocks, and one steal in 27 minutes of action.
Fantasy Impact:
Covington had been averaging a respectable amount of points per game as a Rocket but failed to make an offensive impact in tonight's loss. Since the deadline trade, though, he has seen a healthy uptick in both rebounds and blocks. In his 11 games in Houston, he's tallied nearly 2.5 blocks per game and 8.5 rebounds per game, a significant improvement from his numbers in Minnesota. He and the Rockets will take on the Hornets this Saturday.
