Chris Boucher looks strong in 24 minutes versus the Lakers

by Brendan Ballantyne | Raptors Correspondent | Mon, Nov 11th 5:58pm EST

Chris Boucher played a season-high 24 minutes on Sunday night during the Raptors' 113-104 win in Los Angeles. The 26-year-old supplied 15 points (7-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), three blocks, two rebounds, two steals and an assist.

Fantasy Impact:

The reigning G-League MVP and Defensive Player of the Year got his first real crack at the rotation since Serge Ibaka (ankle) went down, and he filled in admirably. Boucher showed some nice offensive touch and an impressive ability to run the floor for a 6'9 PF/C. However, the majority of Boucher's fantasy utility will likely come on the defensive side of the ball. This game was a prime example of how disruptive he's capable of being with the length he possesses. Obviously, it's just one game, but with Ibaka out indefinitely, it's worth monitoring Boucher to see if he can manage to produce like this consistently with his newfound minutes.
