Lance Stephenson to play in China

Lance Stephenson is leaving the NBA to play for Liaoning Flying Leopards of the Chinese Basketball Association. He signed a one-year contract is worth $4M. (Chris Haynes on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Stephenson is packing his luggage for China, as apparently no team in North America was willing to offer him a deal. While he has occasionally flashed his handling and scoring ability, his inconsistent play was frustrating enough for every single club to bypass him. In Stephenson's lone season with the Purple and Gold, he averaged 7.2 PPG and 3.2 RPG in 68 games. Perhaps he can parlay a successful year abroad into a new NBA contract in 2020.
