Brian Roberts struggles in loss to Spurs

Brian Roberts, who is replacing injured Kemba Walker as Charlotte's starting point guard, struggled Wednesday night against San Antonio. Roberts scored eight points on 3-11 shooting while also adding six assists and three steals in the losing effort. If Charlotte has any plan of returning to the playoffs, Roberts will have to step up and lead this team there. Charlotte's offense is 28th overall in efficiency, and much of that was with Walker in the lineup, so Roberts has his work cut out for him. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Brian Roberts struggled from the field on Wednesday night, but if he proved anything, it's that he can contribute in several different categories. Roberts added six assists, three rebounds, and three steals to go along with his eight points. Once he finds his shot, Roberts should be fine. Charlotte's next game is Saturday against Denver. Expect Roberts to have a bounce back game against the Nuggets, who currently boast the 23rd most efficient defense in the league.
