Rudy Gobert was knocked out of Friday's game against the Celtics with a left knee injury. Early evaluation suggests the injury is a Grade 1 MCL sprain. He'll undergo an MRI to confirm the prognosis. He was injured as Derrick Favors fell back into his legs after getting a shot attempt blocked. He immediately grabbed for his left knee and tried to stand up before going right back down onto the ground. He eventually limped back to the locker room. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Gobert had recently returned after a right knee contusion and he never looked fully healthy. Derrick Favors instantly gets a massive boost to his fantasy stock as he performed very well in Gobert's previous absence.
