Matt Barnes officially retired from the NBA on Monday after 14 seasons after being drafted in the second round by the Grizzlies. Barnes was traded to the Clippers and then spent time with the 76ers, Lakers, Clippers (twice), Warriors (twice), Suns, Magic, and Grizzlies (twice). Barnes finished with one NBA title last season with the Warriors. (Matt Barnes on Instagram)
Fantasy Impact:
Barnes wasn't a superior fantasy option averaging more than 10 points and five rebounds per game in just two of his 14 seasons in the NBA. He was more of a role player who set the tone for teams and took it upon himself to play tough defense against star players on the opposing teams.
