Spencer Hawes exercises option for next season

Spencer Hawes has exercised his player option for next season worth $6 million. Hawes wasn't going to command that money on the open market but he will return with money and being third on the depth chart behind Thon Maker and Greg Monroe. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Hawes won't make much if any impact in fantasy playing behind Thon Maker and Greg Monroe. Continue to leave Hawes off your re-draft board.
