| King James is now 38 years old, and the only two hints at his age are injury and that he was around long enough to become the NBA's all-time leading scorer in February 2023. At this point in his career, he should begin slowing down, but that isn't a bet I'd necessarily make with any confidence. The Lakers will for sure manage his workload, and it would be surprising if he surpassed 60 regular-season games. Those are the knocks against drafting him. The positives are that even with a nagging foot injury last season, he still averaged 28.9/8.3/6.8 and shot 50% from the floor. One of LeBron's strengths has always been to figure out what the team needs and fill that role. With Anthony Davis still kicking and new teammates like Gabe Vincent and Cam Reddish, LeBron's role will be whatever it needs to be. He will be a consistent fantasy contributor in the games he plays; his value is more of a late second-rounder, and the only real trick is to not overpay for the name or think he will provide young LeBron numbers. The beauty of it is that he doesn't have to in order to still be useful. Kelly Kirby - FantasyPros | Ja Morant had perhaps the most frustrating fantasy season in recent memory, playing in only 61 games due to a suspension in mid-March and then suffering an injury in the first round of the playoffs. He then incurred a 25-game suspension for "conduct detrimental to the league," which he will serve at the start of the upcoming season. If the suspension didn't exist, Morant would be a second-round pick in most drafts due to his ability to score and dish as well as rack up steals. As it stands, however, he will appear in 57 regular games at most, which should drop him into the double-digit rounds during drafts.
