Will Middlebrooks signs with Rangers

The Rangers have signed former Red Sox prospect Will Middlebrooks to a minor-league contract with an invitation to Spring Training. (Dallas Morning News )
Fantasy Impact:
Middlebrooks burst onto the scene in 2012 with the Red Sox and looked to be a real up-and-coming star after hitting .288 with 15 home runs and 54 RBI in just 75 games. But injuries hampered his progress and he spent most of last season at the Triple-A club of the Milwaukee Brewers.
