Alexei Ramirez signed by Rays

With the season ending surgery to SS Matt Duffy, the Rays have signed veteran Alexei Ramirez to fill in for the rest of the season. Ramirez is not expected to be a solution at SS past this season. (Marc Topkin via Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Ramirez will have little fantasy impact this season. This also assures the Rays will not be calling up IF Tim Beckham from AAA, who could have auditioned for a larger role next year.
