Down 2-1 in the eighth inning on Monday night, Tigers C Jarrod Saltalamacchia hit his 12th HR of the season and the Tigers won, 3-2. Saltalamacchia was 1-for-4 with a strikeout.
Fantasy Impact:
As far as backup catchers go, Saltalamacchia has plenty of pop - showcasing 12 HR in just 77 games, albeit with a low .192 average.
