Carlos Ruiz continues to produce in limited role

Carlos Ruiz reached base three times in the Phillies 6-3 win over the Rockies on Saturday. Ruiz finished 1-for-2 with a double and two walks. His solid game raised his batting average to .268 for the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Ruiz has only appeared in 44 games this season, but has made the most of it. His on-base percentage is impressive, at .381 and has a respectable .750 OPS. Expect Ruiz to continue to see a couple starts per week and isn't a bad backup catcher for teams with extra spots on their roster.
