In one stellar inning of "relief" work during the Mets' Thursday afternoon loss to the Diamondbacks, Jonathon Niese gave up three hits, six earned runs, three walks and two strikeouts. His season ERA rose to a robust 5.20 as the Mets lost 9-0.
Fantasy Impact:
Niese holds absolutely no fantasy value in any league format. If he is rostered on your team, you should actually be penalized by co-owners and ridiculed mercilessly until your 2017 fantasy baseball draft.
