Texas Rangers 1B Prince Fielder’s career appears over. Rangers are expected to hold a press conference tomorrow. To be clear, Fielder is not retiring, he has been declared medically disabled and can collect his $100M+ that he is owed. (Ken Rosenthal on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Prince had been dreadful this season hitting .212 and has struggled with injuries. It is sad to see someone of his stature and success finish his career this way. Tough break.
