Desmond Jennings begins rehab assignment

Desmond Jennings began his rehab assignment with the Rays' Single-A affiliate on Tuesday. He's been dealing with a hamstring injury over most of the month of July. (Marc Topkin on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Jennings should be ready to rejoin the Rays in roughly a week assuming he doesn't experience a setback to his hamstring injury. Despite his pedigree, he wasn't very useful for fantasy purposes prior to his injury, posting an OPS of .638 over 193 at-bats.
