Drew Storen was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays this weekend. He struggled to a 6.21 ERA and 1.59 WHIP in 38 appearances this season.
Fantasy Impact:
Storen entered the season as a potential closer for the Jays, and thus a valuable fantasy commodity. He lost out on the job this spring, and he's struggled since. The Jays have attempted to trade him, and they still could, but it doesn't appear that he'll be pitching in high-leverage situations for at least a little while.
